the Bushmeat Trade/End Hunting of Primates - Call for an end
to the illegal hunting of chimpanzees, gorillas and other primates
in Africa. The hunting of primates continues to decimate the populations
of endangered primates.

Justice for Suzy - Petition to urge Jefferson County prosecutor,
Robert G. Wilkins, to seek full felony charges against Jason Coats
in the April shooting death of a chimpanzee in Festus, Missouri.
We further urge Mr. Wilkins to not accept a lesser plea but to press
fully to ensure that Mr. Coats is incarcerated for his crime.

Great Ape Project - Demands
the extension of the community of equals to include all great apes:human
beings, chimpanzees, gorillas and orangutans.
Petition
to Retire Primates- Requests that the United States enact federal
legislation funding a system of sanctuaries for primates no longer
being used for experimentation.
Against
Primate Pet Trade - Primates are meant
to live in forests. Unfortunately, many of these animals are forced
to live in households. They are not meant to live as pets.
Most pet monkeys who are taken from their mother as infants do not
live to see adulthood. Those that do, more often than not, suffer
from rickets, diabetes, and/or neurosis (self-mutilation, rocking,
pacing, etc.)
